四川省凉山卅生物研究所是一家集体性科研机构，创立于1992年，1999年被四川省科技厅认定为高新技术企业，研究所自创立以来致力于利用中国西南丰富的绿色资源研制开发国际市场畅销的新型原料药、保健及化妆品的功能性原料。92年研究所在国内率先形成了紫杉醇工业化生产，94年为中国医科院药物所紫杉醇针剂研制提供了首批经美国检验合格的高纯度紫杉醇（≥99.6%）原料药，多年来产品出口欧美，受到一致好评。研究所利用易得、天然无毒的中药材，采用自研制的高效复合酶水解生产白藜芦醇，纯度超过99.5%，工艺简捷、成本低、能耗低、无三废污染，形成了白藜芦醇生产的最优工艺技术。研究所是西南地区最早建立曼地亚红豆杉种植基地的企业，种植面积达4200亩，有24000亩白藜芦醇原料━虎杖的种植生产基地。研究所现有员工50人，其中高中级专业技术人员24人，研究所所有员工均是大专以上毕业生。研究所一直受多位前沿科研学者、专家的指导，并与国家级科研院所保持有合作关系。
目前，研究所高纯度紫杉醇的年生产能力可达60kg,白藜芦醇年产量5吨。研究所所有产品均能按客户的要求生产成不同纯度以供需要。
研究所斥资控股企业━西昌丹阳生物科技有限责任公司，拥有进出口权，主要承担着研究所科研成果━紫杉醇、白藜芦醇等产品的产业化开发。

Biology Reserch Institute is a collective science research organization
founded in 1992 and certificated by the Science and Technology Department
of SiChuan province as high-tech enterprise, whose main goal is to
develop and produce well-sell raw medicine material、 healthcare and
cosmetic functional material in international markets on the basis
of the rich natural green sources in Southwest China. The institute
industrialized Paclitaxel isolating for the first time all over China
in 1992. The institute provided the first batch high purity Paclitaxel
tested up to grade for the pharmacology Institute of Chinese Academy
of Medical Science to produce Paclitaxel injection in 1994.The institute
has sell it's products to Europe and America and gotten good reputation
since being founded. The institute developed its Resveratrol by making
use self-made highly effective compound enzyme hydrolysis with above
99.5% purity. Simple processing art, low cost, less energy consumption
and no pollution makes it the best Resveratrol production technique.
The institute is the first company built Media Taxus plant basis in
Southeast China, and has a hectares of 300 hectares Media Taxus and
2000 hectares Giant Knotweed(for producing Resveratrol).The institute
has 50 employees who are all graduated from college at least, 24 of
them are technicians. A few frontier outstanding experts keep in directing
and tutoring the institute, and the same time the institute has corporations
with nation-class research organizations.
At
present, the production capacity of Paclitaxel is up to 60kg per year,
and Resveratrol 5 tons. The institute is able to provide various concentrations
plant extracts according to the requirements of the clients.

DanYang Biology Research Co.,Ltd is invested and controlled by the
institute, whose goal is to convert the research results of the institute
into practical fruit, and has the right of importing and exporting.
